Fashion, fashion and more fashion

You really can shop ‘til you drop in Arnhem. In addition to major fashion chains such as H&M, Zara and Mango, the city is also home to lots of boutiques and specialised stores. For example in the ‘7straatjes’, located directly behind Primark, you’ll find loads of truly unique, unusual and tasty products sold by equally unique, unusual and above all friendly people.
Less than a 20-minute walk away is the Modekwartier (Fashion Quarter), in the heart of the Klarendal neighbourhood. Here, life revolves around fashion, design, art and food, and numerous artists and designers have opened studios, workshops and galleries where they often sell their creations too. As you stroll through the neighbourhood, you’ll soon realise why Arnhem deserves its reputation as a fashion and design capital. Happy shopping!

Breeding ground for creativity

The Arnhem region abounds in creativity and innovation. Its ArtEZ Institute of the Arts acts as a breeding ground for the likes of Marcel Wanders, Daan Roosegaarde and Viktor & Rolf. Arnhem provides a platform for the annual Fashion + Design Festival Arnhem and State of Fashion too. But in and around Arnhem you can admire fashion and design all year round.
