For many, this photo symbolizes the courage, determination, and brotherhood of the Allied soldiers.
The Schoonderlogt Airborne Memorial, officially unveiled on October 1, 2020, honors their sacrifice and keeps the stories of these liberators alive. Visitors are invited to pause here, reflect on history, and appreciate the enduring bond between the local community and the veterans of the 101st Airborne Division.
Attention! Schoonderlogt Estate is private property and not open to the public. However, the iconic gate can be photographed from the road.
