The collection at the Liemers Museum comprises historical artefacts from the Liemers region related to archaeology, natural history, religious life, the Second World War and industrial heritage such as the Turmac cigarette factory, the Gimborn ink factory, the brick-making industry and the De Hoop shipyard. Additionally, the museum displays a large collection relating to local community associations, including of course the schutterijen (civic guards).
The museum regularly holds temporary exhibitions which can also include works from various art collections.
Besides that, the museum is a great place to take a break along several cycle routes.
