This is the Veluwe in all its glory. EuroParcs De Hooge Veluwe has a prime location directly opposite the National Park. From your stylish accommodation you can easily explore the breathtaking landscape of the Hoge Veluwe National Park. In addition, the city center of Arnhem is just around the corner.
Hoge Veluwe National Park
Everything here breathes nature and the Veluwe. It is almost impossible to spend the night closer to the Hoge Veluwe National Park. If you cross the road from EuroParcs De Hooge Veluwe, you are already at the Schaarsbergen entrance to the National Park. The perfect place to explore the vast moors and Veluwe forests of the largest national park in the Netherlands, on a bicycle or on foot. In the park, a visit to the Kröller-Müller Museum with the second largest Van Gogh collection in the world could be worth a visit, as is the Jachthuis Sint Hubertus. After half an hour's drive you could also have your feet in 'the Sahara of the Low Countries' as Kootwijkerzand is also called.
Museums, castles and monkeys
EuroParcs De Hooge Veluwe is located just outside Arnhem. In the pleasant city you can stroll through vintage shops and boutiques, have a bite to eat on the Rijnkade or walk in Park Sonsbeek. The city is bursting with interesting museums such as the Arnhem War Museum, the Wine Museum and the Open Air Museum. You could also visit a number of castles in the area, such as the impressive Castle Doorwerth and Castle Rosendael. In good or bad weather, in Burgers' Zoo you can imagine yourself to be in a tropical rainforest, a blistering desert and a colorful underwater world. If you drive in the direction of Apeldoorn from the park, you can watch monkeys in the Apenheul, experience an adventurous day in Amusement Park Julianatoren or take a look at Paleis het Loo and the beautiful gardens.
